Have you ever wondered what the houses where Fr. Chaminade lived or Mother Adele was born looked like…or where Marie Thérèse de Lamourous worked? How did they think about their environment?
With the program “Where We Were Born,” you can get a better idea of just these matters and more, with the sights and sounds of our Heritage.
In this resource you will find French, Spanish and English versions of a program that was originally produced in 1997 by the provinces of Madrid and Zaragoza of the SM and the Province of Spain of the Daughters of Mary, commemorating the bicentennial of the arrival of Fr. Chaminade and Mother Adèle in Zaragoza and San Sebastián. It was originally created as a slide program. The International Center for Marianist Formation has produced the program in both a DVD and a CD format.
The ICMF with permission of the original producers has updated some of the photos and adapted the program to new formats. (The DVD is compatible in any region.) The ICMF is offering this as part of our service of ongoing formation. This program is appropriate for any group in the Marianist Family.
Presently, this program is only available in French, Spanish and English. We have a “Source Files” CD that can be used to produce the program in other languages. Please contact the ICMF if you want more information along this line.

- DVD -- $10.00 (10 € in Europe) each which includes the DVD and postage;
- CD -- $5.00 (5 € in Europe) each which includes the CD and postage
