The Horizons 2010 logo connects us to ”commitment”: .COM is also the root of its translation in English and Spanish. The letter
O is the globe, surrounded by the Marianist cross… a world where we want to commit ourselves to Mary to assist her in her mission.
.COM also reminds of the digital culture that is a context for our evangelization.

The International Center for Marianist Formation (ICMF), in collaboration with the General Administrations of the Society of Mary and the Daughters of Mary Immaculate, reports the successful completion of the fourth Horizons Program, which took place at St. Joseph of Tivoli, in Bordeaux, France, from 10 July – 10 August 2010.
Horizons is a program of ongoing formation for members of the Society of Mary and the Daughters of Mary who have made perpetual vows and are under the age of 41.
The aim of the 2010 program was “To deepen and broaden the identity of young adult Marianist religious as committed, global missionaries of Mary.”
Twenty seven members of the SM and nine members of the FMI, from all over the Marianist world, participated in a variety of sessions, e.g., Intercultural Dialogue, Marianist Spirituality, Social Justice, Education & Youth Ministry, Leadership, available in English, French, Spanish and Korean. They also went on pilgrimages to Marianist heritage sites, e.g. Périgueux, Trenquelléon, the Madeleine, Le Pian-Médoc, Agen, Zaragoza.
Brother Tom Giardino of the ICMF directed the program with an international team made up of Fr. Dave Fleming, from India; Bro. Hugo de Diego, from Zaragoza; Sr. Juliana Mun In-Hye, from Korea, and Bro. Remy Sandah, from Togo.

A group of eight Marianist oral interpreters, along with various presenters and the staff, gave generously of their time and talents to contribute to the success of the program.
Below, are the list of the participants and a group picture of Horizons ‘10.
